TORONTO, ON (October 27, 2020) – Illumiti, a leading systems integration and management consulting company serving a variety of customers globally, celebrates its 20-year anniversary. Over the first two decades, Illumiti has learned that revenue growth is only achievable with drive, dedication, and a relentless commitment to creating strong customer and employee loyalty. With customer experience excellence as a key differentiator, Illumiti is excited to celebrate this 20-year milestone and eager to position itself for continued growth.

Over the course of the last 20 years, Illumiti's vision has become a reality—the firm has lived up to its own words and mission, for itself and its clients, to “Realize Your Vision.” Since 2000, Illumiti has grown from a small, niche integration firm to a global technology enabler in Information Technology partnering with customers in a variety of industries: Construction, Mining, Manufacturing, Industrial Machinery, Oilfield Services, Mill, Building Materials, Paper and Packaging, and Wholesale Distribution.

Founded by CEO Nir Orbach, the firm was established with a clear vision to guide its customers on what’s necessary to accelerate their growth and to be better able to evolve. Over the past two remarkable decades, Illumiti has partnered with forward-thinking organizations, and since the company’s inception, numerous Illumiti clients have remained loyal to the firm with a large percentage of employees still remaining, many having five or more years of service and ambassadorship with Illumiti.

Some of Illumiti’s key milestones during the past two decades include:

  • Founded on September 27, 2000 as N.S.I.E. (Networked/Nir’s Systems Integration Experts)
  • Signing its first SAP implementation projects in 2001, Progistix (now SCI Logistics) and BMG Music (now Sony Music)
  • Winning its first engagement with RIM (Blackberry) in 2002, a key Illumiti client in our first decade
  • Signing an SAP Channel Partnership for SAP Business One in 2003
  • Opening its Calgary, Alberta office in 2004
  • Signing an SAP Channel Partnership for SAP Business All-in-One in 2006
  • In 2008, partnering with Eldorado Gold and St. Andrew's Gold (now Kirkland Lake Gold) 
  • In 2009, Ronald A. Chisholm is our first significant non-mining win 
  • In 2010, Illumiti is named Canadian SAP Partner of the Year for SAP Business All-in-One, the first of five consecutive Partner of the Year awards in part due to the firm’s mining-industry wins
  • In 2012, established Illumiti's Swiss office and won the Glencore SAP implementation contract
  • Introduced a formal Application Management and Enhancement Services (AMES) offering in 2011 to improve customer service levels in connection with ongoing application support
  • Illumiti signs Alacer in 2012, our first significant US mining win 
  • The very successful Continuous Improvement Program is launched in 2013
  • In 2014, Metrie is our first significant mill-industry win 
  • In 2015, Illumiti becomes a leader in the early adoption of SAP S/4HANA with one of the first 3 projects in North America (Monarch Cement)
  • Cultiv8 Consulting becomes Illumiti HCM in 2016, and the firm increases its product offerings and expertise with SAP SuccessFactors
  • In 2017, Illumiti partners with the Tomlinson Group which becomes our flagship Engineering, Construction & Operations (EC&O) customer
  • With our industry-leading mining template, we partner with Glencore Copper division in 2018 and Barrick Gold in 2019
  • With our industry leading EC&O template, we partner with Clark Construction and Centuri Construction in 2019
  • In 2020, we move to an almost entirely remote workforce as the COVID-19 pandemic hits; in spite of these unprecedented challenges, Illumiti shows signs of resiliency and growth eager to support its clients
